Asia Power Quality Initiative (APQI) announces to hold a full day seminar, 18th in its series, on "Total Power Quality Management" with the support of it's national support network (NSN) partner FICCI in association with International Copper Association India. The mission is to create awareness of the issues and challenges faced by industry on Power Quality front. Aim is to build capacity on technical, financial and managerial aspects of power quality. The Asia Power Quality Initiative (APQI) India, www.apqi.org in co-operation with IEEE, Oman Society of Engineers, major Electrical Utilities and key Stakeholders in Oman is hosting a day international seminar on Power Quality in order to impart knowledge, share best practices and assist in capacity building of professionals in the region.
Date and Place: 21st June 2013 (Friday) at Raipur, Chattishgarh.

Issues like Electrical Safety , Power Quality, and Reliability are becoming a priority among Electrical Engineering community. Recognizing this important need, FICCI is organizing a National Seminar on "Electric Utility Management " with a focus on Reliability , Safety, Power Quality & Earthing during 17-18 July 2013 at Chennai. International Copper Promotion Council (India) is the Knowledge Partner for this seminar. This two-day meet is a forum for exchange of information and sharing of experience and expertise among the technical & management professionals in this area.
Date & Place: 24th August, 2013 at Kongu Engineering College, Coimbatore
The seminar provides an overview on main PQ development in Europe. It focuses basically on recent legislative, regulatory, standardization, voltage quality monitoring and education initiatives summarizing the latest outcomes. It will also bring in the perspective of energy efficiency (for which Power Electronic Equipments are used) Vs Economic loss of productivity in industries due to poor PQ and educate the stack holders to create appropriate balance.
